Do I need a passport?
A: You must have a valid non-expired passport book to board all flights associated with our packages. Please keep in mind it can take up to 3 months to obtain them.
I am not a U.S. citizen, what documents do I need to travel?
A: Non-U.S. citizens must call the U.S. Customs Office at 1-800-375-5283 to find out what documents are needed to travel. Failure to provide proper documents does not constitute a valid reason for monies refunded.
What is your refund policy?
A: If you cancel more than 60 days prior to your departure date, you will receive a full refund minus your $400.00 deposit. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to your departure date, you will not receive a refund. The deposit portion of your payment ($400.00) is never refundable, nor is it transferable to another person. Please note, some resorts require full non-refundable payment to confirm the reservation. If so, it will be listed in the hotel description.
What is your policy concerning name changes and date changes?
A: Homeland Security will no longer allow name changes or date changes on an airfare ticket. If a member of your party can no longer travel, their reservation must be cancelled with the airline. A new reservation must be made for the passenger taking their place. The $400 deposit payment will be lost with the cancellation and cannot be transferred to the new passenger. Please note, airfare pricing will increase and availability will decrease as we get closer to your departure date.
Why is the location for some resorts listed as Paradise Island, I thought they were all in Nassau Bahamas?
A: Paradise Island is connected to Nassau via a short bridge. Think of Nassau and Paradise Island as the two main resort/tourist areas on one island. Nassau is on one side of the island, Paradise Island is on the other.
Are there any extra taxes or fees that will be added to my package price?
A: $99 will be added to each package price for taxes and processing fees. Some resorts may require that hotel tax be paid by the traveler at check-in (call for details). All taxes and fees listed above are per person.
Can I use U.S. currency while in the Bahamas?
A: Yes, and all major credit cards.
Is there a minimum age requirement for student spring break packages?
A: 18 for the Fly-N-Stay (Nassau Bahamas) package unless otherwise noted in our hotel description.
Should I drink the water while in the Bahamas?
A: The water is slightly salty, but completely safe.
Are the restaurants very expensive?
A: 15% gratuity is included on the price of every meal in the Bahamas, therefore, it seems higher at first glance. Most menu selections range from $5 to $15 depending on the restaurant.
Are there fast food & American-style restaurants in Nassau/Paradise Island Bahamas?
A: Yes, the island caters to the American and European tourist. The island offers a Popeye’s, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, and more. There are also Italian, Greek, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants.

What are the luggage restrictions for the Fly-N-Stay (Nassau Bahamas) package?
A: Each passenger is allowed one personal item (purse), one carry-on bag, and one checked bag at no charge as long as they meet size/weight requirements. Maximum carry-on bag size: 22″x14″x9″ & 20 lbs. Each checked bag must not exceed 62 inches (157.48 cm) in dimensions (length + breadth + height) & 50 pounds (23 kilos) in weight. Bags that exceed size/weight requirements will incur an additional fee ($75 to $150) per bag.

Are all resorts on the beach?
A: No. Some resorts are on the beach and some are not. Free beach shuttles are available at many resorts.
Will we need to pay a damage deposit?
A: Some resorts require a cash-only refundable damage deposit. Most resorts require a credit card be placed on file. The card will not be authorized or charged unless you destroy the room or hotel property.
If driving to Fort Lauderdale, where do I leave my car while I am in the Bahamas?
A: You will leave your car in the secured long-term parking area at the airport. The rate is $15 per car/per day. If you have booked the Florida hotel with your package, you may leave your car at the Florida hotel for $7 per car/per day. Round-trip transfers (airport to hotel) are provided with our Florida hotel add-on package.
Are local telephone calls free from our resort hotel room?

Are the prices reasonable in most of the shops in the Bahamas?
A: Very reasonable. You will find that most brand name products are 25% less than U.S. prices, plus you pay no sales tax up to $700.
What type of products can I expect to find in the shops and straw markets?
A: Brand-name clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, and electronics from all over the world. Unique island wear and hand-made jewelry are also available at bargain prices.
